Islington, England : Distance Travelled = 69 miles
Hello!
An exciting evening, my first trip into London. I caught a glimpse of the big green cucumber building, I hope to see that one day closer up. Because my family were working (playing) I didn't get to see much of London, but I know they'll take me back. It was such a hot room I nearly had to take my scarf off! I think I'd like to play the guitar when I get a bit bigger, it's such a lovely instrument and I'd like to sing. One of the nicest bits of the evening was listening to the Angel band play lots of fantastic tunes. I loved the English feel and even recognised one or two! I think I like London, I'd like to come back again!

Stansted, England : Distance Travelled = 96 miles
Morning!
We're on our way up to the north of England now and we've been shopping! Because the autumn is really kicking in I really needed a jacket. I'm hoping to go to some really cold places this winter, so I've now got a lovely jacket and trousers. I've heard it's really cold in the north of England and tomorrow we're going to be a long long way north! We're stopping off in Keighley for th Bacca Pipes Folk Club tonight. More very soon!

Hello!
Here I am at the Angel of the North. The Angel was HUGE! I thought the he looked like a big aeroplane. According to his information board, he is 20m high and was born in 1997.
We spent last night in Otley and saw some fantastic singing and dancing from JigJaw. We are on our way up to Northumberland - that's nearly Scotland! I've very glad of my new coat because it is really cold here.
More later....
Lots of cuddles.

Etal, England : Distance Travelled = 374 miles
Hello!
We spent Saturday evening in the tiny village of Etal. They have a fantastic village hall that has been renovated and they put on concerts. It's a lovely acoustic in the hall and nice and warm with a wood burner at one end. The best bit was going to visit the castle and sitting on the large canon. It's a 12th century castle, really old and really falling down! I think I like seeing castles! I'm definitely enjoying this tour and seeing so much more than just the music!
More later!

Newcastle, England : Distance Travelled = 390 miles
Hello!
We left the lovely little village of Etal and began our drive south to get to the Guisborough Folk Club. We took the scenic route via the coastal road, the sun was shining and it was beautiful! We stopped off at Bamburgh Castle, a really old castle with history going back to the Anglo Saxons. The Vikings destroyed an original castle there, but this one hs been restored and looks fantastic! We couldn't stay there for long though and soon had to continue our way south past Newcastle.
More news soon!

Great Bardfield, England : Distance Travelled = 659 miles
Hello!
We're back home again after our long journey back. We had another club on Sunday night, which was awesome and then a long drive over night back down to Essex. I can't wait for my next journey! I've decided I want to go and see some friends at the other end of the country now, down in Devon, so I'll let you know how I get on very soon.
Tonight we had a bit of a bear party. There are three of us bears travelling in this area just now, me, Platie and Wilf. We all got together to wish Wilf well on his grand Wild adventure. He leaves these shores very soon to go to Australia.
Good Luck Wilf!
