Hello!
Well, I'm back home again and twiddling my thumbs for a few weeks, so I thought it was time to learn a new instrument. I felt like trying a small bear size instrument again, so here I am playing the Jaws Harp. This instrument has got many different names and instruments like it an be found all over the world. In fact, this is the second time I've played on of these, the first one was the Dan Moi. This is a modern version of the instrument and some of the other names include English Trump and Guimbarde, some people also call it the Jews Harp. But because you place it against your mouth you're really using your jaw to play it with, so it's name is the jaws harp. I like that name. I hope I'm not going to be hanging around for long before my next adventure though!

Hello!
I'm back in Sweden again, skiing! Just for the weekend, so it was a flying visit really, but it was soo cold! Infact it was far too cold a little bear really. When it gets very cold bears actually hibernate, so I wasn't allowed to go out just incase I fell asleep on my paws! We stayed in a really wild hotel, up in the dome of a large shopping centre. You can see the shopping centre in the pictures, if you look closely you can see the windows right up in the dome. It's been very snowy over in Sweden and the snow was covering the window of the hotel room. I was allowed out of the car just long enough to have my picture taken with the slope, it was very, very cold, -19 degrees. Way too cold for me! It's been a long winter!

Hello!
I'm back home again after my wonderful weekend away. Whilst I was in Sweden I got to hear about a most amazing story. The OS-mössa, or Swedish Olympic hat. Some of the Swedish athletes at the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver have been wearing hand crocheted hats. A website published the pattern and ever since then there has been a mass of crocheting around the country. There has never been such crocheting, all the shelves are empty of the special yellow and blue yarn! My family managed to get hold of enough yarn to make some hats before the whole world ran out and I'm very proud to wear my OS-mössa, especially as Sweden won gold in the ladies curling last night! Heja Sverige. Tee hee!
