Boogie at Geneva Airport

Hello!!
We've made it to Geneva airport, it's a strange place. You get put on buses to get everywhere and have to wait lots and lots! You can see me waiting for my bag, sitting on the carousel, along with lots of other people. The funniest thing about Geneva airport is the announcement chime. It is exactly the same as the start of the song "How much is that doggy in the window?". So you have to sing that at the top of your voice every time an announcement is made. I did get a few funny looks I must say! It's now onto a coach and onto our destination!

Boogie at Geneva Airport

La Tania, France : Distance Travelled = 81,022 miles

Hello!
We made it to our destination - La Tania Ski resort in France. We came here last year, but it was so much fun that we came back again. La Tania is the Olympic village that the athletes used back in the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympic games. I wore my olympic hat at every opportunity, but only saw one the whole week. As you can see from the pictures I had a fun practising on the button lift, I didn't really feel very safe though. I was very good and wore my ski helmet too, but it was a bit big and uncomfortable and made a much better sledge! I also made sure that I drank lots and lots of water to keep myself hydrated. I've also heard that you're supposed to drink lots and lots anyway, it's called Apres Ski, so I got lots of practise in! That's all for now, I hope to get on a new adventure soon!

Boogie in the Cotswolds

Painswick, England : Distance Travelled = 81,617 miles

Hello!
We've come back home from France, where I enjoyed my sledging very much and have travelled over to the other side of the country to the lovely Cotswolds. I could definitely live here, very pretty, quite hilly. Not as hilly as France was, but definitely hillier than Essex! A very brief visit, just in and out again, but very nice!
Hopefully another adventure soon!

Boogie Plays the Hurdy Gurdy

Hello everybody!
I've been having such fun! We had a friend come round and she had the most amazing instrument I think I've ever seen. The Hurdy Gurdy! Wow! It's got lots of strings, keys and you play it with a wheel! I couldn't really reach the wheel and the keys at the same time, mind you I couldn't reach the wheel or the keys really! It's a really old instrument, from at least the medieval times and isn't played so much any more. But it's getting more popular and I can see why, it was amazing! Time for a new adventure soon I think.
